The QueryTransactions method returns EFSnet transactional data based on query criteria passed as parameters. The returned data appears in XML format.

TelecheckICA Suite

(TelecheckICAAuthorize,

TelecheckICASettle,

TelecheckICARefund)

The TeleCheckICAAuthorize method authorizes a check transaction by requesting an

authorization number from the TeleCheck ICA service. Funds are not transferred to the merchant, or “settled,” until the TeleCheckICASettle method is invoked.

Verified by Visa two step authentication process utilizing 

ProcessAuthenticationResponse

The ProcessAuthenticationResponse method is the second call of a two-step authentication process. This method verifies AuthenticationResponseToken, the value the card issuer’s authentication server returns. Then, if

AuthenticationResponseToken is valid, the method authorizes a credit card transaction in the same manner as the CreditCardAuthorize method.

No replacement is available.

Debit Session Key Management

(DebitSessionKeyChange,

3DES Encryption)

The DebitSessionKeyChange method obtains a new SessionKey from the host for the specified TerminalID. Periodically changing the session key from the host is

necessary with Master/Session PIN encryption.

Functionality will not be emulated.

StarCheckDirect Suite

(STARChekDirectVerify, STARChekDirectDebit)

The STARChekDirectVerify and STARChekDirectDebit methods offer access to STAR

CHEK® Direct’s check verification and debit service. Both methods use identical

input parameters and return identical output parameters.

Functionality will not be emulated.

Level III Transactional Data

Enables the input of Level III data for Credit Card transactions.

Functionality will not be emulated.

GetSettlementTotals

The GetSettlementTotals method returns RDS (Retail, Dollar and $ents) data.

Access First Data RDS data via standardized and secure file delivery methods.

Now – March 2009

·          Merchants may continue to send transactions through EFSnet until retirement date.

·          Vendor/TPP/First Data to establish migration/emulation paths to alternative solution.

·          Vendor/TPP/First Data to migrate impacted merchants from EFSnet to alternative emulation solutions.
