EFSnet Architecture
When developing a payment processing application, it is helpful to have a high-level understanding of the entities involved
in processing a payment transaction.
The EFSnet Architecture page provides a block diagram view of
each major tier involved.
Developer Test Accounts
Developing to EFSnet is fairly straightforward. The first step is to sign up for a free test account, which grants access to EFSnet test servers.
With a test account, you can submit test transactions and access the EFSnet Merchant Services Web site for transaction management.
To obtain a free test account, click here.
EFSnet Documentation
Once you have obtained a test account, refer to the EFSnet documentation page
which provides interface specifications and other relevant information needed to build a functional and robust EFSnet application.
Which Interface?
There are three unique programmatic interfaces to EFSnet. Your first design decision will be to choose which interface best suits your
needs. For a brief description of each interface, click here.
Test and Production Environments
The EFSnet platform consists of both a test server and a production server environment.
This allows for applications under development to freely test EFSnet transactions
without interfering with critical production systems.
For a brief discussion about how to access either the EFSnet test or production platforms,
